How to play and FAQ

How many stations are there?

113: every station on Osaka Metro's 8 subway lines (Midosuji, Tanimachi, Yotsubashi, Chuo, Sennichimae, Sakaisuji, Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi, Imazatosuji) plus JR's Osaka Loop Line. The New Tram is not included. A station served by several lines counts once.

How do I play?

Type any station you remember and press Enter. The clock starts with your first answer, and each correct station lights up on the map. Give up whenever you like to see the stations you missed.

How do I type station names?

Romaji, Japanese kanji or kana, and Chinese all work. "Shinsaibashi", "心斎橋", "しんさいばし" and "心齋橋" are all the same station.

What is the quiz mode?

You see the stations on either side and the line name, and pick the hidden station from four choices. Play Quick 10, Survival or All 113, and see your accuracy and time.

How are "Better than X%" and rare stations worked out?

When you finish, your score is compared with everyone who has played. Stats are anonymous, and there's nothing to sign up for.

What is the Daily 5?

Five multiple-choice questions that change at midnight Japan time. Everyone gets the same five that day, and you get one try. Play every day to build a streak, which shows when you share.
