How to play and FAQ

How many stations?

81 JR Central stations inside Aichi Prefecture. Stations served by several lines, such as Nagoya and Kanayama, count once.

Which lines are included?

The Tokaido, Chuo, Kansai, Taketoyo and Iida lines: 5 in all. The Shinkansen and the Johoku Line are not included.

What about stations outside Aichi?

They are left out: lines leaving Aichi are cut at the border. The Tokaido Line runs Futagawa–Kisogawa, the Chuo Line Nagoya–Jokoji, the Kansai Line Nagoya–Yatomi and the Iida Line from Toyohashi to the Shizuoka border.

How do I answer?

Type a station name and press Enter. Japanese, kana, romaji and Chinese names all work.

How does the quiz work?

Use the line and the neighbouring stops to pick the hidden station from four choices.

What is the Daily 5?

Five multiple-choice questions that change at midnight Japan time. Everyone gets the same five that day, and you get one try. Play every day to build a streak, which shows when you share.
