How to play and FAQ

How many stations?

598 distinct stations on 48 lines of the five major private railways of the Kansai region. Stations shared by several companies, such as Tsuruhashi and Osaka-Namba, count once.

Which companies are included?

Every line of Hankyu, Hanshin, Keihan, Kintetsu and Nankai (cable cars aside); Kintetsu reaches as far as Nagoya and Ise-Shima. Subway and JR lines are not included.

Why are the line names “???”

This edition hides every line and company name. Name three stations on a line and its name and colour are revealed.

How do I answer?

Type a station name and press Enter. Japanese, kana, romaji and Chinese names all work.

What about stations with the same name?

Mikage, Sakurai, Kujo and Hashimoto each have two companies’ stations. Type the name twice for both, or add the company (“Hankyu Mikage”) for that one.

What is the Daily 5?
